This year, I want to do something good and make the world a better place, and the most impactful influence on my life has been books. When I found out that Susan Dennard and the Mighty Pens were partnering with We Need Diverse Books for NaNoWriMo this year, I knew I had to help.

That's why I created a fundraiser to support We Need Diverse Books. Their campaign to support authors whose books are facing bans will send authors on school visits to schools that otherwise couldn't afford the experience as well as distributing thousands of books to schools across the country—and you can be a part of it.
